The Dance Group Pellegrina
The dance group Pellegrina has been active since 2006. The members of the group are amateur dancers who try to revive the European dances from the 15th and the 16th century, preserved according to the written records of that time. The dance repertoire includes the dances called branle. They were described by the clergyman Arbaud and they were very popular among ordinary people. The group also dances the English country dances collected by John Playford, and which were also danced at the English court.
